Our client is hiring a Senior Vice President of Sales to lead their high-growth agency and to infuse insurance best practices into their company holistically. You’ll be responsible for owning an interdisciplinary team of insurance sales, service, and operations employees and will be the voice of insurance at the leadership level.

As an expert leader in the space, you’re confident in your understanding of the complexities of insurance and will be responsible for infusing the agent conversation into our online product.

Position



Responsibilities
  • Lead the company-wide strategy for businesses bound by their licensed agents and our third-party licensed agent partners. From sales to customer conversion to post-sales activity for quality assurance, retention, cross-selling, and critical issues, you will own the sales strategy and outcomes.
  • Own agency performance to achieve company sales goals, balancing efficiency, productivity, and outstanding UX.
  • Lead the team with a data-driven optimization approach to maximize sales conversion rates and agent productivity. A/B test and optimize scripts, contact strategies, team structures, and workflows to drive results and continuous improvement. Prioritizes the highest impact work and constantly tests assumptions.
  • Optimize the team’s productivity while setting the standard in agency operations (never satisfied with the status quo), challenging your team to build innovative and impactful work.
  • Develop a workforce management strategy to support the growth of the business.
  • Develop sales training programs that enable leaders and agents to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives.
  • You will collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, research, engineering, marketing, and commercialization to infuse insurance standard methodologies across the business.
  • Implement agency tooling and platforms in collaboration with Product and Engineering teams

 

 

 

Qualifications
  • Strong sense of ownership, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and a dedication to continuous improvement.
  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in an insurance and/or financial services call center environment growing sales and profitability. 
  • Hands-on experience in strategic planning and achieving business objectives through sales and operational execution. 
  • You have an extensive understanding and experience in insurance B2C sales best practices in sales processes, sales technology, quality assurance, compliance, licensing, and workforce management.
  • Capable of translating business direction and priority into a clear and practical approach for your cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with sales technology platforms and agency tools or systems to drive sales efficiency and productivity. (i.e., Applied Epic, voice analytics systems, telephony systems, CRM, etc.).
  • Experience working cross-functionally to stand up agency platforms and processes in a high-growth environment.
  • A highly team-oriented and collaborative leader with the ability to easily work cross-functionally.
  • P&C experienced highly preferred
