Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the President and other key stakeholders to shape the company’s long-term vision, goals, and strategic initiatives.
• Provide visionary leadership and align operations strategies with the company’s mission and values.
• Employ strategic thinking to identify market trends, business opportunities, and potential risks and formulate actionable plans to drive growth and competitiveness.
• Oversee all operation functions, including underwriting, policy administration, claims processing, customer service, and back-office operations, to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance operation processes and streamline workflows.
• Develop and execute risk management strategies to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and mitigate potential risks to the company.
• Safeguard the company’s assets and reputation through robust risk assessment and mitigation processes.
• Cultivate strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including executive leadership, department heads, and cross-functional teams.
• Represent the company to external partners, regulatory authorities, and industry associations.
• Collaborate with the CFO to establish budgets and financial plans and monitor financial performance.
• Utilize strong financial acumen to make informed decisions that align with the company’s financial objectives.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement and innovation across the organization, emphasizing the importance of optimizing processes and leveraging technology.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in the insurance industry, with at least five years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of driving operational excellence and achieving strategic goals in the insurance sector.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze financial data to support decision-making.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and critical thinking skills, with a focus on long-term vision and goals.
