Senior Consultant

The company seeks a Senior Consultant to facilitate growth and expansion by maintaining relationships within key accounts and establishing strategies to drive acquisition.

The Senior Consultant will work closely with the Head of Client Services to advise cross-functional teams on pursuing and responding to upcoming business opportunities. This role is responsible for constructing plans for developing potential relationships and managing the new client pipeline. The Senior Consultant will need a solid, comprehensive understanding of the Property and Casualty Insurance industry and will need to maintain knowledge of this industry to better serve the internal team and potential new business. This role will collaborate with leaders at all levels and report directly to the Head of Client Services.

Position Overview



Responsibilities
  • Manage accounts and engagements across assigned clients, conducting new customer onboarding and regular customer cadence calls. 
  • Present and deliver strategy, recommendations, and best practices using the company’s risk propensity scores through dashboards and analysis.  
  • Deliver the company’s solution data analysis and provide ongoing recommendations for optimal utilization of the company’s products. Ensure customers achieve or exceed full business value defined by the stated and documented use case or goal.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth by working alongside Sales during discovery and identify possible expanded product development opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain valued relationships with clients by learning their business models and strategy.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of customers’ data and identify areas of interest for customers based on their industry and business model; effectively communicating findings to customer stakeholders and recommending next steps to help increase ROI 
  • Open to remote with the ability to travel to conduct onsite/offsite meetings and business reviews 
  • Ability to travel roughly 20% 

 

Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree: graduate education is preferred but not required.
  • 5+ years experience in a similar client-facing B2B client development role preferably with a SaaS or DaaS solution.
  • Successful track record in developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders in the P&C insurance industry, preferably across multiple organizations either through serving them as clients or industry partnerships.

  • Ability to work collaboratively at all levels and build consensus and lead delivery without formal line authority.
  • Proven strategic and analytical thinking skills to identify new opportunities and resolve challenges throughout the client development process
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with an ability to work cross-functionally with a broad range of internal and external clients 
  • Skilled in providing resourceful and creative troubleshooting to provide optimal business or technical solutions. 
  • Strong relationship, organizational, project management, and time management skills; adept at prioritizing and managing competing priorities within a dynamic work environment. 
  • Entrepreneurial approach with the ability and desire to initiate the identification and pursuit of innovative ideas.
