The Innovation Leader will serve as a trusted advisor, supporting by conducting market research to proactively identify industry trends. They will utilize strategic and financial frameworks to craft corporate strategy and manage execution responsibilities for strategic projects. This individual will coordinate cross-functional teams to aid in strategy development, strategic planning efforts, and the formation of initiatives. They will also generate insights on market and competitive intelligence to assist business unit and functional owners in developing enterprise strategies. Furthermore, they will assist senior stakeholders in crafting business cases to propel the execution of the company’s strategies.

Position



Responsibilities
  • Develops informative and compelling narratives based upon quantitative and qualitative research to inform and influence business decisions
  • Partners with internal teams to explore strategic questions / problem statements and support solutioning through rigorous analysis
  • Researches and develops detailed business cases (strategic and financial) to articulate the impact of market opportunities presented
  • Presents business case and recommends activities in alignment with the enterprise strategy to leaders and the board of directors as appropriate
  • Leads cross-functional teams and workstreams to define, develop, and execute strategic projects in support of the enterprise strategy

 

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Liberal Arts or other similar field, or commensurate experience (Master’s degree a plus)
  • 2+ years of experience in management consulting, strategic planning, corporate strategy and development, innovation or similar quantitatively focused role
  • Structured problem solver with the ability to think through large complex problems, identify key drivers, and break down the problem into small sub-components for analysis
  • Strong communicator adept at developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
  • Highly organized and resourceful individual able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, orchestrate cross-functional teams, and maximize output based upon available resources
  • Nimble learner able to learn new topics / domains quickly and actively experiments to find new solutions
  • Advanced skills and experience with Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint) and other tools for analysis, financial modeling, presentations, and other communications
